Abstract:

Coronary chronic total occlusion (CTO) represents a complex and challenging lesion subset in the field of interventional cardiology. Successful recanalization of CTO lesions can effectively improve myocardial perfusion, enhance cardiac function, and promote the long-term quality of life for patients. The selection of scientific and individualized recanalization strategies directly determines procedural success and subsequent clinical outcomes. This study focuses on the classification and application details of CTO recanalization strategies, as well as the key factors affecting long-term prognosis after successful intervention. The purpose of this study is to summarize practical and standardized schemes for strategy selection, clarify the independent impact of different factors on long-term outcomes, and provide evidence-based references for optimizing CTO interventional decision-making and improving long-term clinical benefits.

Key Words:

coronary chronic total occlusion; recanalization strategy; long-term prognosis
