Abstract:
During the critical period of China's vocational education transitioning towards a typified model, secondary vocational education, as a foundational component of the vocational education system, has its positioning and development path directly impacting the perfection of the modern vocational education system, the quality of the supply of technical and skilled personnel, and the high-quality development of the real economy. Based on the core connotations and characteristics of the typified development of vocational education, this paper systematically reviews the evolution of the historical positioning of secondary vocational education, analyzes the new requirements posed by typified development, and clarifies the core positioning of secondary vocational education within the vocational education system, talent cultivation, and social services. Subsequently, it explores the high-quality development path for secondary vocational education under the background of typified development from five levels: system, cultivation, resources, teaching staff, and society. This aims to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for secondary vocational education to overcome development bottlenecks, strengthen typified characteristics, and enhance educational standards.
