Abstract:

Artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping the landscape of creative practice, infusing new vitality into traditional creative fields such as design and calligraphy, while also prompting deep reflections on the nature of creativity, the transmission of craft, and the value of human agency. The modular system, as a core logic running through traditional design and calligraphic creation, serves both as a vehicle for the inheritance of skills and a foundation for creative iteration. From a humanities and social sciences perspective, this paper integrates design theory, art history, and critical technology studies. Drawing on relevant academic research, it explores the connotation and value of traditional modular systems, analyzes the reshaping of and challenges posed by artificial intelligence to the modular systems of design and calligraphy, and ultimately constructs a practical pathway for the symbiosis between traditional modules and intelligent generation. This aims to provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the sustainable development of the creative sector in the age of artificial intelligence.
