Abstract:
The construction of new liberal arts is guided by interdisciplinary integration and value orientation, providing a new perspective for the ideological and political reform of English teacher training courses in universities. The English teaching method, as a core course that connects language theory with basic education practice, has long been plagued by problems such as skill based solidification, fragmented integration of ideological and political education, and prominent disciplinary barriers, making it difficult to meet the requirements of cultivating comprehensive educational abilities for teacher candidates in the new era. This article takes the integration of multiple disciplines as the research perspective, analyzes the internal logic of the value shift of ideological and political education in courses, explains the empowerment mechanism of multiple disciplines, and proposes a systematic practical path from four dimensions: goal reshaping, content integration, classroom reconstruction, and practical training empowerment. Research has shown that interdisciplinary integration can break down disciplinary barriers, deepen the connotation of ideological and political education, achieve the organic unity of value guidance and professional teaching, and provide theoretical references and practical paradigms for the ideological and political construction of English teacher training courses.
