Exploring Approaches to Enhance the Quality of Party Branch Construction among University Faculty and Students

Abstract:
The faculty-student Party branch is a grassroots Party organization composed of both faculty and student Party members, characterized by diverse membership composition, differentiated needs, and complex operations. Currently, some faculty-student Party branches face issues such as superficial organizational life without genuine integration, mismatched activity designs, and separate evaluations for faculty and students. Based on defining the concept and quality criteria of faculty-student Party branches, this article analyzes existing problems and proposes three fundamental principles: shared governance by faculty and students, mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and effectiveness-oriented approaches. It also outlines specific pathways in three areas—organizational structure, activity systems, and evaluation mechanisms—to provide references for enhancing the quality of faculty-student Party branch development.
