Abstract:

The pedagogical transformation of global higher medical education demands a rigorous synthesis of clinical competency and humanistic values. This research systematically investigates the symbiotic integration of Life Education (LE) and Curriculum Ideological and Political Education (CIPE) within the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Nursing course. Recognizing the profound ethical, psychological, and existential dimensions inherent in maternal and reproductive healthcare, this study proposes a multidimensional teaching reform paradigm. Drawing upon authentic empirical data from 160 nursing undergraduates distributed across three academic cohorts (2019-2021), a quantitative comparative analysis was conducted to validate the proposed theoretical model. The experimental cohort, subjected to the integrated LE-CIPE framework via Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and high-fidelity clinical simulations, demonstrated statistically significant enhancements in comprehensive academic mastery. Specifically, the proportion of students achieving exemplary scores (≥90) escalated exponentially from 1.8% to 10.0%, accompanied by an absolute eradication of course failure rates. Through the strategic excavation and mapping of life education elements across normal pregnancy, abnormal obstetrics, and gynecological oncology modules, the pathway successfully reconstructs epistemological teaching objectives. Furthermore, it implements scenario-based empathy training and establishes a robust formative evaluation metric. Ultimately, this paradigm not only fortifies theoretical and procedural proficiency but also profoundly cultivates nursing students' reverence for life, professional dedication, and ethical resilience, providing a substantiated empirical reference for future medical education reform.
