Abstract：

"In Memory of Mr. Lu Xun" is an essay by Ba Jin included in Random Thoughts, Volume 3: The Collection of Truth. Written in the first person, the essay recounts several small incidents from the author's memory involving Mr. Lu Xun. Written in simple, unadorned language and imbued with sincere emotion, it not only expresses Ba Jin's profound longing for Mr. Lu Xun but also serves as a process of self-reflection and redemption for the author. Among the more than ten works Ba Jin wrote in memory of Lu Xun, this essay holds a pivotal position in The Collection of Truths, in the context of the era in which it was written, and in Ba Jin's own life.
