Research on the Driving Factors and Mechanism of Tourism Economic Growth in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Abstract:
Tourism in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,with its unique resources and geographical advantages,has made significant contributions in multiple dimensions such as national economic growth,border stability,cultural inheritance and ecological development.There are significant differences in tourism resource endowments,economic foundations,and policy support among the prefectures and cities of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Based on data from the Inner Mongolia Statistical Yearbook and the official website of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 2016 to 2023,this paper uses literature research,descriptive statistics,and content analysis methods.To explore the driving factors and mechanisms of tourism economic growth in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The study found that: (1)The tourism economy in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region showed a fluctuating recovery trend during the study period; (2)Resource endowment,infrastructure,policy support,and market demand are the four core drivers; (3)The four are working together to drive tourism economic growth through a synergistic mechanism of"resource attraction-facility support-policy guidance-market push", providing a theoretical reference for the study of tourism economic disparities in similar ethnic and resource-based regions.
