Abstract:

Under the background of "cultivating virtue through education" and the new curriculum standards, moral education curriculum needs to be reconstructed under the guidance of core competencies. This article reviews the deviations in current moral education in terms of objectives, content, implementation, and evaluation, explains the embedded relationship between core competencies and the values, practices, and developmental dimensions of moral education, and proposes an improvement path that first clarifies the goal positioning, then reorganizes the content through real-life contexts, activates the classroom through experiential activities, and finally consolidates the effectiveness through diversified evaluation. The study finds that this path can enhance students' sense of responsibility, awareness of rules, and spirit of cooperation, while also improving teachers' moral education design abilities, providing experiential reference for constructing a whole-school environment for student development.
