A New Pedagogical Model for the Course Film and Television Post-production Technology in Higher Vocational Colleges in the AIGC Era

Abstract:

Against the backdrop of the deep integration of all-media communication and the rapid iteration of artificial intelligence technologies, the digital media industry is undergoing comprehensive and historic structural transformation. As technology continues to empower production processes, the industry is increasingly characterized by the widespread use of intelligent tools, multi-platform content creation, and rising expectations for the comprehensive competencies of media professionals. In response to the major challenges in teaching the course Film and Television Post-production Technology, this study, guided by a student-centered, problem-oriented, and continuously improving educational philosophy, proposes a closed-loop teaching model integrating “learning, training, application, and evaluation.” With the deep integration of AI technologies at its core, the study develops an innovative “three-stage, four-link” training pathway that enables learners to progress from basic techniques to integrated project practice and better aligns course learning with industry expectations for post-production designers. Practice shows that this model effectively addresses key teaching pain points. Specifically, it reconstructs modular teaching tasks, implements project-based practical training, and establishes a hybrid multi-dimensional evaluation system. Applied in classroom teaching, the model connects “job competence, course learning, skills competitions, and professional certification” into an integrated whole, significantly enhancing students’ practical abilities in post-production technology and offering constructive insights for the reform of digital media curricula.
