Research on Theory and Practice Courses of Volleyball Sports Training under the Perspective of Broad Curriculum

Abstract:
The comprehensive curriculum framework provides systematic educational support for volleyball training program reforms, transcending traditional classroom limitations to establish an integrated educational system where teaching, practice, and diagnostic processes interconnect and advance collectively. This framework focuses on three core competency objectives— athletic ability, healthy behaviors, and sports ethics—guided by three implementation principles: alignment with student development, school resources, and project-specific characteristics. Current volleyball training programs face challenges such as monotonous teaching scenarios, insufficient interdisciplinary integration, inadequate practical platforms, and missing diagnostic systems. Additionally, there exists a disconnect between talent cultivation and societal demands, slow dissemination of scientific exercise concepts, and sluggish development of campus sports culture, hindering optimal educational effectiveness. This study aims to establish a scientific exercise philosophy as its fundamental goal, reconstruct a tiered curriculum structure, create a four-tiered practical platform, and implement a closed-loop diagnostic evaluation mechanism. By deeply integrating volleyball courses with disciplines like sports anatomy and exercise physiology, the program serves the broader goal of supporting university-wide physical education and fostering campus sports culture. These innovations provide actionable pathways for innovating university volleyball training programs, facilitating the achievement of core competency development and the integration of physical education with academic education.
