Abstract:

The optical radiation characteristics of electric explosive plasma are of great significance for exploring the properties of non ideal plasma and ignition technology of energetic materials. In the past few decades, scholars at home and abroad have conducted extensive research on the physics and effects of electric explosions, clarifying the typical characteristic laws of plasma and visible light radiation effects. In recent years, with the gradual application of electric explosion technology in the fields of national defense, energy, and materials, people have begun to pay attention to more physical details in the plasma radiation phenomenon of electric explosions, in order to achieve effective control of the load radiation effect of electric explosions. This article briefly reviews the research history of electric explosive loads and their optical radiation effects, and introduces relevant experimental methods and technical principles. The spatiotemporal evolution behavior of electric explosion plasma and optical radiation was systematically introduced from the perspective of dynamics. The radiation spectral characteristics of different stages of discharge were analyzed from the perspective of spectroscopy. The correspondence between the key process of electric explosion and the physical mechanism of optical radiation was established. The influence of discharge mode, metal material, and medium type on the load optical radiation characteristics was summarized. Finally, the development trend of electric explosion technology based on strong light radiation effect was discussed.
