Abstract:

Pulse electric field measurement with wideband and large dynamic range is a common basic technology in the fields of electromagnetic pulse effect, protection, and electromagnetic compatibility. It has received widespread attention from researchers in the past 50 years and has developed measurement techniques using different methods. Passive differential (D-dot) measurement sensors have a relatively high bandwidth, but they are large in size and have low integration; The maximum measurement bandwidth of the active fiber optic measurement system is about 1 GHz, with relatively small size, high integration, and strong practicality. Integrated optical sensors, as passive sensors with wide bandwidth and small size, have been studied in various countries. This article mainly reviews the recent research progress of several pulse electric field measurement technologies mentioned above, and analyzes the challenges and possible future research directions of pulse electric field measurement technology based on the current development status, providing reference for researchers in related fields.
