Research and Application of Radiation Field Generation Technology Based on Direct CAD Geometric Models

Abstract:

This article introduces the 3D radiation field generation technology based on direct CAD geometric models and its application. Based on the large-scale parallel unstructured grid Monte Carlo particle transport method, combined with direct CAD geometric models such as online maps and SolidWorks, an efficient radiation field generation simulation calculation method suitable for electronic components, complex factory geometries, and large-scale urban environments is proposed. And based on this technology, numerical simulations of the radiation field of Android device circuit boards, complex radiation source maze radiation environment, and nuclear radiation in the building area of a hundred meter urban environment were implemented. The neutron flux rate and energy distribution information of the radiation field in the entire space were obtained, verifying the feasibility of this technology in the simulation applications of electronic component irradiation effects, radiation source shielding design, and nuclear radiation transient effects.
