Abstract:
Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology is the main unit for the construction of strong pulse radiation environment in China. Since its establishment, it has independently developed a series of large-scale radiation simulation devices, forming a radiation environment simulation system and technical system with Chinese characteristics. In the past decade, with the continuous expansion of application demands, the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology has made new breakthroughs in radiation simulation devices and their technologies. This article focuses on the large-scale strong pulse radiation simulation devices newly built by the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology in recent years, including the large-area pulse gamma ray test device "Yunguang-1", the 4 MV pulse X-ray flash photography device "Jianguang-2", and the strong pulse X-ray test device. The latest technological progress in induced voltage superposition, fast pulse linear transformer, and multi type radiation load is analyzed, and preliminary ideas for the construction and key technological development of future strong pulse radiation simulation devices are proposed.
