A Study on Smart Governance, Smart Mobility and Smart Energy——A Comparative Analysis of Hong Kong and Seoul

Abstract:
With the constantly development of smart cities worldwide, two key areas have become crucial totheprogress of modern cities: smart governance, and the integration of smart mobility and energy systems. Smartgovernance is defined as a governance system that utilizes robust data resources to formulate effective public policies within complex social environments, with a view to achieving social objectives. At the same time, electricvehicles (EVs) are no longer just a means of transport —they act a friendly bridge between smart mobility and smart energy, and also which is realized with the technology of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G). Firstly, this report focusona comparison study between Hong Kong and Seoul through reviewing the development of smart governance, smart mobility & energy. Secondly, this report would conduct the positive and negative impacts of the smart city development among Hong Kong. Finally, my suggestion would be given to help to a future development of HongKong’s smart city.
