Research on the Application of Red  in College Students' Ideological and Political Education

Abstract：

As a precious spiritual wealth formed by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China during the revolution, construction and reform, red culture serves as a core high-quality resourcefor ideological and political education in colleges and universities. In the new era, its embodied ideals, beliefs, value pursuits and spirit of striving provide an irreplaceable carrier for thoroughly fulfilling the fundamental taskof fostering virtue through education and cultivating college students’ patriotism and sense of mission. Basedonthis, this paper, starting from the needs of ideological and political education in colleges and universities inthenew era, expounds the current situation of the application of red cultural resources in college students’ ideological and political education, clarifies its core principles, and constructs a systematic application path.
