Abstract：

With the development of new generation information technology such as big data, cloud computing, the Internet, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence, the pace of digital transformation of China's traditional industries has accelerated. Taizhou is an important region for the digital transformation of traditional industries in China. At present, the digital transformation of traditional industries in Taizhou plays a prominent role in breaking the limitations of traditional development models, promoting the integration and upgrading of traditional industrial structures, and giving birth to new business models. However, it also faces a series of practical problems such as insufficient supply of core digital technologies, relative lack of digital infrastructure, difficulty in integrating digital information technology with traditional industries, and shortage of funds for the digital transformation of traditional industries. Vigorously developing the digital economy in Taizhou and promoting the digital transformation of traditional industries in Taizhou, we need to start from multiple aspects such as strengthening digital technology innovation capabilities, improving the coverage of digital information infrastructure, accelerating the integration of digital technology and traditional industries, strengthening policy support, and building a digital transformation platform for traditional manufacturing industries. We need to work together to explore effective paths for the digital transformation of traditional industries in Taizhou. With the rapid popularization and development of information technology such as the Internet and big data, the digital economy has become an important driving force for high-quality economic development in China. With the pace of supply side structural reform and the digital transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the importance of the digital economy in driving China's industrial structure towards the mid to high end is becoming increasingly prominent. Taizhou is an important birthplace of China's private economy and a significant gathering place for traditional manufacturing industries. With the increase in prices of production factors such as labor and land, the traditional manufacturing industry in Taizhou, which is mainly labor-intensive and resource consuming, is facing new development challenges. At the critical period of transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry in Taizhou, exploring how to leverage existing industrial advantages, aim for future industrial development direction, vigorously develop digital economy and advanced manufacturing industry, build a new highland of digital intelligent manufacturing at a high level, actively guide and promote the digital transformation and upgrading of traditional industries in Taizhou, and make the digital economy a new engine and new driving force for high-quality development in Taizhou is of great practical significance.
