A Review of Research on the Impact of Multidimensional Proximity on Regional Innovation Cooperation

Abstract:

With the continuous development of society, the importance of innovation is becoming increasingly prominent. The trend of cross regional innovation cooperation is constantly deepening, and regional innovation cooperation is becoming an important engine for promoting regional economic growth. Multidimensional proximity is one of the important factors affecting regional innovation cooperation. By reading highly cited literature on the impact of multidimensional proximity on regional innovation cooperation, this study attempts to clarify the mechanism by which each dimension of proximity affects regional innovation cooperation and summarize research hypotheses from different perspectives. On this basis, analyze the shortcomings of existing research in order to formulate appropriate ideas for possible future research directions.
