Abstract：

"Water Pollution Control Engineering" is one of the core courses in the Environmental Engineering major. This article mainly discusses the importance of the ideological and political construction of the "Water Pollution Control Engineering" course in accelerating China's ecological civilization construction and promoting green development. Using the "Water Pollution Control Engineering" as a carrier, it explores the construction of an environmental engineering course ideological and political teaching system guided by the "Ecological Civilization Construction Thought", and explores the problems and countermeasures in the process of course ideological and political construction.
