Abstract：
As one of the three major treasures, the united front has played a significant role in advancing China's
modernization. From a cultural perspective, the united front can be viewed as "Qi" (instrumentality), while China's
modernization represents "Tao" (principles or guiding path). Tao resides within Qi, and Qi cannot be separated
from Tao. There exists a close relationship and interaction between the united front and China's modernization. From a cultural viewpoint, the strategic functions of the united front within the process of China's modernization
are primarily reflected in four aspects: taking value-based common understandings as its soul, cultural heritage
as its root, ethnic solidarity as its foundation, and international vision as its basis, striving to form a powerful
instrument that accelerates the development of the "Tao" (path of modernization).
