Abstract:
As a masterpiece of China's intangible cultural heritage, Nanjing Yunjin (Cloud Brocade) embodies the exceptional craftsmanship and aesthetic wisdom of Chinese traditional textile culture. However, its international communication has long been constrained by linguistic barriers, cultural differences, and limited communication channels. The emergence of digital humanities provides new theoretical perspectives and methodological tools for the translation and cross-cultural communication of traditional crafts. This paper argues that digital tools not only enhance translation accuracy and depth but also foster participatory culture and transnational engagement. The research concludes that the digital humanities approach offers a transformative pathway for ensuring the sustainable global transmission of Nanjing Yunjin.
