Abstract:
With the continuous deepening of aesthetic education in the new era, university music classrooms facean urgent need to update teaching concepts and transform teaching methods. This paper discusses the practical significance of innovating music classroom teaching models in universities, arguing that such transfor mationisnot only a necessary step toward fulfilling the fundamental mission of cultivating virtue and nurturing talent, butalso a crucial pathway for meeting students’ aesthetic development needs and enhancing classroom teachingquality. Based on this understanding, innovative strategies are proposed across three dimensions —teachingcontent, teaching methods, and assessment systems: first, enriching curriculum design to strengthen aesthetic experiences and emotional resonance, enabling music classes to truly touch students' hearts; second, innovatingteaching approaches to stimulate students’ active participation, shifting them from passive listeners toproactive expressers; third, establishing a diversified evaluation system that emphasizes formative and developmental assessment, ensuring evaluation genuinely supports student growth. These three aspects mutually reinforceone another, forming an integrated framework for innovation in university music classroom teaching in the newera, providing practical reference for advancing aesthetic education in higher education institutions.
