Abstract:

The major of spatial information and digital technology emphasizes interdisciplinary integration and engineering informatization, with the "Spatial Decision Support" course serving as a core component. Inlight of current adjustments to the program's development and talent cultivation objectives, this paper identifies issues such as students' insufficient understanding of the course, mismatched teaching materials, and overly simplistic assessment methods. It proposes clarifying the course's positioning as a bridge to integrate spatial analysisrelated courses and suggests adjustments to the teaching plan for "Spatial Decision Support" in terms of content, methodology, and evaluation. These modifications aim to better cultivate students' comprehensive abilities andcritical thinking in solving complex spatial problems, enhance teaching effectiveness, and strengthen practical skills and career orientation.
