Abstract:

The 2024 "Edition of the Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards" takes "fostering virtue" through education as the fundamental task of Chinese courses, emphasizing the educational value of unifying the instrumental and humanistic nature of the subject. Based on the actual Chinese class teaching of junior high and the moral education book "Maxims for Moral Cultivation", this paper explores effective approaches to integrating it into core teaching modules including classical Chinese instruction, reading appreciation, composition writing and oral communication. Constructing a normalized class infiltration system of pre-class recitation, in-class linkage and after-class extension and combined with diversified education methods of technology empowerment, interdisciplinary collaboration, environmental infiltration and social practice, it builds a bridge of integrating Chinese teaching and moral education and establishes a closed-loop evaluation mechanism with multi-dimensional, multi-subject and whole-process coverage. The research aims to break the current situation of the separation between Chinese teaching and moral education, realizes the unity of literary and morality as well as the integration of knowledge and practice, helps students improve their Chinese literacy and morality personality truly, and earnestly fulfills the fundamental educational mission of fostering virtue by the Chinese discipline.
