Abstract:

Interdisciplinary integration has become the core direction of contemporary higher education reform and compound talent training. Traditional college English teaching, which focuses purely on general language skills, is separated from professional talent training, resulting in the disconnection between students' English learning and professional practical application and failing to meet social demands for interdisciplinary innovative talents. From the perspective of interdisciplinary integration, this paper takes the collaborative education of college English and professional talent training as the research object. Adopting literature research, questionnaire survey and empirical analysis, it sorts out the theoretical connotation and logical relationship of collaborative education, analyzes the current dilemmas such as disjointed teaching goals, single curriculum system, insufficient interdisciplinary teacher literacy and imperfect training mechanisms. On this basis, it constructs a multi-dimensional collaborative education system and puts forward targeted optimization strategies. The research aims to break disciplinary barriers between basic English and professional courses, realize the deep integration of language literacy cultivation and professional ability training, and provide practical reference for college English teaching reform and high-quality compound talent training in universities.
